About the Organisations Involved

The following organisations all came together to develop this Governance Code as a result of their shared aim of improving governance practice across the community, voluntary and charity sector in Ireland. The result of improved governance practice will be better outcomes for the people that organisations in the sector serve. All of the following organisations have a track record in standing for, supporting and promoting high standards of governance in the sector.

Boardmatch Ireland

Boardmatch Ireland supports the development of the community and voluntary sector (the not-for-profit sector) by strengthening boards and management committees. More...
Boardmatch Ireland provides a web-based matching service where people can register their interest in volunteering on not-for-profit boards. These candidates are then matched, based on location, skills and preferred area of interest, to not-for-profit organisations who have also registered their board opportunities. Carmichael Centre for Voluntary Groups

ICTR

The Corporate Governance Association of Ireland (CGAI)

The CGAI is a professional association of members certified in corporate governance post graduate studies. More...
It provides its members with continuous professional development programmes and other resources to enable them to keep abreast of this continually evolving subject.
